Meet ChiChi
Chi-Chi, Born in High Point, NC to Demetris and Marion Bell July 9th, 1981, has made her mark in the beauty industry. Having been raised around the world (ARMY BRAT), Chi-Chi has embraced her not so rooted roots and used it to her advantage. With a passion for the arts, her travels and experiences have shaped her creativity. Chi-Chi is a writer, painter, jewelry designer, and a licensed cosmetologist. She first caught wind of her creativity by age 10 and hasn’t looked back ever since.
After being forced to go to college (she wanted to be a hair stylist) by her mother because of her track & field scholarship, she used her love of music to aid in her decision to major in Communication at the University of Louisville in 2003 and used her BA for radio Disney and Radio One in Louisville, KY. While she had part of the career she wanted, she still dreamed of becoming a celebrity hair stylist and owner of many major salons and products.
Chi-Chi obtained her cosmetology license in 2006, and opened her own salon, ErthTonez, LLC “The Creative Experience” in 2010. She wanted it to be a place where her clients could get her undivided attention in a private setting; like the celebrities. To this day, her clients and new clients that have left high traffic salons would agree that they are spoiled and wouldn’t have it any other way!
With over 9,000 YouTube and instagram subscribers and countless happy clients, Chi-Chi prides herself in not only helping you feel more beautiful and empowered, but educating you on your hair and leading a healthy lifestyle During your journey.
